Ganon think he's the big bad of the Zelda universe, but he's wrong. His abilities completely pale in comparison to that of the common Cucco.
Basically immortal and capable of instantly summoning a brood of angry relatives when enraged, the Cucoo is a being to be feared and respected.
While the death that the cucoo inflicts is by no means as brutal as some on this list, it's still very much one of the worst ways you can die in a game. Pecked to death by a collection of angry chickens? How embarrassing!
It's even worse when the death is completely not your fault as you accidentally managed to hit a cucoo with a weapon and before you know that cucoo and its pals are descending upon you en-masse with feathery death in their eyes (and beaks, and presumably talons too).
