10 Wrestling Video Game Moments That Became Real

4. Women’s Royal Rumble

This was so easy-to-forget that yours truly actually thought his brain was playing tricks when he suddenly remembered that there was a "Divas Rumble" in SmackDown vs. Raw 2010. It's true - the match was part of a 'Road To WrestleMania' jaunt centred around Mickie James.

Eight years later, WWE produced their first ever women's Royal Rumble match.

That's not the only parallel either. In the "Divas" version, James enters rather late in the brawl (probably because the game demands you go on and win it). Come 2018, Mickie entered the Rumble as #26. That's crazy, but so is the fact that THQ beat WWE to the whole women's Rumble thing by almost a full decade.

Being honest, nobody could've predicted that Vince McMahon would genuinely green light a female Rumble back in 2010. The women's roster was painfully thin on the ground when it came to top-tier talent, and the "Divas" tag was still sticking like mud.

It happened though.
