10 Wrestling Video Game Moments That Became Real

3. Evolution Reunites

Shawn Michaels' character was incredulous at the thought that Triple H would re-align with Randy Orton and Batista in SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. The pair had been riding high as D-Generation X again, but the story called for Randy to get under Hunter's skin and coax him back to the old Evolution days.

The game's scriptwriters came up with this tale in 2008. Less than six years later, Evolution reunited for real in 2014. Better yet, Ric Flair was nowhere to be found in SmackDown vs. Raw '09 or for the group's feud with The Shield - he was weirdly missing from both reformations.

It's so strange that this happened in a video game and in reality.

'Slick Ric' was on the outs with the company when the game was launched, and he could only really be found as a cameo star on NXT (alongside his daughter Charlotte) when that Shield rivalry was going down years later. THQ, yet again, were spot on here.
