7. Snake's Nightmare
This MGS3 one is pretty cool. After the torture scene, if you call Para-Medic to save, Snake asks her to tell him a story to take his mind off the pain. Much to his discontent, her usual cine-chatter is centered on a Dracula movie, because there's nothing like a horror story to soothe the mind and body after rigorous electro-torture. Save, switch the game off and load again to witness the incredible effect the conversation had on Snake. Welcome to Guy Savage, a brief, sepia-toned demo of what was rumoured at the time to be a Castlevania game in the works. The player is surrounded by mutants (who appear to be wearing police uniforms), and the objective, obviously, is to survive as long as possible by slaying them with your cool dual blades. It's obviously nowhere near a full game, but it's clear that there are elements of what could have been Castlevania or something similar; you can go into a kind of hyper mode, for instance, if you chain loads of kills together. When the nightmare ends, and Snake wakes in a cold sweat, you can call your radio contacts for various amusing conversations. By far the funniest is Sigint's, so if you're going to try this, save him for last. Unfortunately, the 3DS and HD remakes don't feature the nightmare, but you can still have the post-nightmare conversations.
