10 Zelda Items That Are Immediately Made Pointless After You Get Them
4. Bombs - Twilight Princess
Bombs are a common staple throughout the Legend of Zelda
series, being found in almost every single game in the franchise. However, that
does not mean that all bombs are created equal.
In Twilight Princess, you are given bombs relatively early on in the game, as they are used quite frequently. However, in the next temple you are given the water bombs, which make bombing available underwater.
After this, you are able to purchase bomblings, which can move around and actually chase enemies before exploding. On top of all of this, you acquire bomb arrows soon after this, making all of these aside from the water bomb completely useless.
The fact that the bomb mechanic is used so frequently throughout the game that they felt the need to put four different bombs in is crazy to start with. We have had so many different games where they have created different and interesting items for each game, but bombs are in each one.
It is not an interesting or particularly exciting mechanic, especially after obtaining arrows and moving bombs that can do all the work for you. Bombs are by far the most useless, and yet most useful item in Twilight Princess.
