10. Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite

Smart, Capcom, you decided to provide a dedicated arcade mode from launch this time around. Not that you could have gotten away with providing the bare minimum in terms of content a second time; Street Fighter V is still around - barely - to remind you of the poor results that come from such decisions.

Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite is, thank God, the wholesome crossover fighting game we had all hoped it would be, and the most accessible.

Make no mistake, the most flexible-fingered players around will still be king of the coop when it comes to online multiplayer, but, with Marvel's pop culture-dominating Cinematic Universe now a thing, half of Infinite's roster has mass appeal; many of your opponents aren't going to be habitual video game players.

Striking a perfect balance between casual and hardcore is impossible, but Capcom's managed to find a suitable middle ground that accommodates all skill levels. There's something here for everyone, fighting game veteran or not.
