8. Star Wars: X-Wing

Going all the way back to 1993, this will be the first Star Wars title that many of us who grew up with the original trilogy played first. Sure it's simplistic as hell now, with an overall file size equal to whatever song you've listened to last, but damn if the production values weren't sky-high for the time.

Everything from fully-voiced mission briefings to a MIDI soundboard replicating a variety of the iconic themes from the movies was on full display, easily giving this something of a loveable charm - especially seeing as at the time Star Wars in general was still the hottest thing going.
