11 Former Wii U Exclusives The Nintendo Switch Can Save

9. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is truly an underrated game that's perfect for short-burst, portable play, much like current Switch favourite, Snipperclips. Bite-sized puzzle levels make for quick fun, and the three-gems-per-level mechanic (reminiscent of mobile hit Angry Birds) keeps you coming back.

The Wii U pad was used for manipulation of platforms, and the mic got a little use to blow on in-game fans. Who knows how that would transfer over, but the use of gyroscopes could transfer across to control first-person sections.

Again, getting this to Switch is a no-brainer. With 1.41million sales in the bank, Nintendo can push this one out the door, perhaps even as a pack-in with a Deluxe edition of Super Mario 3D World, since that's where the Captain Toad levels originated in the first place. No need to replace the touchscreen controls as the Switch has a better screen anyway, and the mic can be left out of the equation.
