11 Former Wii U Exclusives The Nintendo Switch Can Save
8. Paper Mario: Colour Splash
Who doesn't love Paper Mario? It's a series that still arguably doesn't get enough love as a misunderstood RPG rather than straightforward platformer. Super Paper Mario on Wii was evidence enough of this: the game's focus was far more on jumping than battling and as such, it didn't live up to the hype generated by the adored GameCube entry, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
Paper Mario: Colour Splash (or Color if you aren't British), was initially criticized by diehard Nintendo fans who saw it as a simplistic continuation of the Nintendo 3DS release Sticker Star. Some even called for its cancellation. Thankfully though, this petition only gathered 1,739 signatories and against a possible 0.85 million sales, the news isn't all bad.
It's a game that is not as hardcore in its approach to RPG battling, so would be a great way to entice the mainstream market to the Switch which won't cost the earth for Nintendo to port across. All it would need is a solid advertising campaign.
