11 Reasons Lost Legacy Is Better Than Uncharted 4
3. Less Is More When It Comes To Locations
Go on, name your favourite location from Uncharted 4. I bet you can name your favourite set-piece and moment, but an actual place, like a country, city or village.
Pretty hard, right?
It's because of the breakneck pace A Thief's End employs to fly through as many locales as possible, that we don't get any time to actually take them in. Lost Legacy almost entirely takes place in a single location, letting you take in how its various parts connect, see where you've come from and where you need to head, and especially when you're clambering up some sky-high structure, how well-designed the path throughout has been.
As a testament to how incredible Naughty Dog are, at no point does any of your adventuring feel like you're playing through a 'video game level'. There's a real sense of naturalism to how Chloe and Nadine get through the luscious Indian temples and ancient Hindu architecture that cements it all as a real-world place with real-world history - something I can't say has come across before.
