11 Severely Underrated Xbox One Games You Must Play

7. Titanfall

Remember Titanfall? You can pick it up for only a handful of notes these days, so far has its reputation fallen thanks to the savage wasteland of 2014's disastrous release schedule, that it not only didn't catch on as Microsoft intended at the time, but remains considerably overlooked to this day. Developed by Respawn Entertainment (a new studio by name, but ran by Jason West and Vince Sampella, who can thank for giving you the world-changing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series), the only reason this fell down was due to its focus on being multiplayer-only. The player-base is definitely far smaller than the likes of Halo 5 or recently-released COD: Black Ops 3, but it's in piloting the hulking great Titan mechs where you'll find endless entertainment. Outside of summoning them in to gain the upper hand mid-fight, your standard movement lets you run and jump across all surfaces (even wall-running), which when coupled with the same sort of collectible card-equals-equipment setup Halo 5 has, presents a solid multiplayer offering that's altogether different from the more well-known titles on the market.
