10. Forza Horizon 4 - Lego Speed Champions

Okay, so, I’m a massive Lego fan - huge infact. My garage is currently residing around twenty unbuilt sets, in a house with no more room to shelf them and a fiancé who’s had enough of my spending habits.

You can only imagine my childlike excitement, then, when an E3 trailer revealed this extraordinary expansion for Forza Horizon 4. A whole new world, filled with bricks and studs!

Lego Speed Champions is essentially a re-skin of the original experience. Yes, it has a new island and locales to gaze over, but the fundamental gameplay still remains. Still, it is so fun!

Smashing your way through an assortment of plastic Lego bricks adds a degree of exhilaration to Forza Horizon 4, which was already pretty damn high. Utilising the games destruction physics to send the man-made island crashing around you is a cathartic experience and the ultimate revenge for anyone who’s ever stood on a Lego brick.

Previous Forza Horizon entries explored the weird and wonderful, with Forza Horizon 3 having an entire Hot Wheels expansion. But Lego Speed Champions upped the ante and set the bar for insanity for all future racing downloadable content to follow.
