6. The Wolf Among Us Season 2

While Telltale have continued to churn out pretty great games and sequels to their most popular properties, arguably their best release outside of The Walking Dead Season 1, The Wolf Among Us, hasn't received any love since it dropped a couple of years ago.

Fortunately, after flirting around with tie-ins to Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman, the developers are finally going back to their best and most imaginative property next year for a sophomore season based on the dark world of the comic of the same name.

Sadly, the team are moving away from the story of the original game in favour of a new standalone plot, but the world of The Wolf Among is so ripe with stories to tell and threads to follow that in a way it's probably for the best that the devs' creativity isn't limited by the constrictions of the first season.

There's virtually no other information on the sequel as of yet, but if it's anything like the first effort then it could shape up to be Telltale's best release in years.
