11 Video Games With Severely Underused Secondary Characters
10. Yusuf Tazim - Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Of all the characters we've encountered throughout the Assassin's Creed series, Yusuf Tazim remains one of the most charismatic and light-hearted people to give Ezio a helping hand in his quest. Make no mistake: Tazim wasn't some dimwit who couldn't understand the weight of the situation. It was just that he had the guts to stay true to himself in the face of both the Templars and the Ottomans. He introduced Ezio to Istanbul, the right people and the right tools, giving him both the know-how and the means to combat these threats. Not only that, but he managed to bring up the lighter side of the Mentor, for the first time in the AC2 trilogy. After the tediously serious Brotherhood, it was good to see Ezio being his old self again, even if it was reserved for brief interludes between the missions. Hearing these guys wise-cracking and making jokes about the Templars was truly a sight to behold. It was sad that the character wasn't given more time in the game itself. After all, when was the last time you had a laugh in Assassin's Creed?
