12 Big-Budget Video Games That Launched Completely Broken

10. Dead Island

What was it about Dead Island that whipped up the industry into such a maelstrom of buzzwords and hype-tinged arm-waving? Sure that initial trailer was pretty slick and definitely pulled at some emotional heartstrings along the way, but even if the finished product was the second-coming of Elvis it couldn't have lived up to the ridiculously-high expectations people had. Of course it didn't even come close to that regardless, as the launch-day version of DI saw a laundry list of errors. Including corrupted saves, low-res textures, misplaced mission icons there was even an IGN video showing that where their was supposed to be a door was instead an invisible wall - trapping that player's character inside an area forevermore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bFqrpDLu_E
