12 Essential Gaming Sequels That Must Be Announced In 2015

9. Skate 4

EA's Tony Hawk-killing series initially took off with a triple-kickflip 720-spin, only to then enter down a one-way alley into obscurity following the third game. Boss man John Riccitiello mentioned that he thought the popularity of skating games - and Skate iteself - was a spur of the moment thing alongside music games; something that was pretty much confirmed as the two genres completely fell to the wayside following a smattering of sequels that all arrived far too quickly. There's been rumblings of Rock Band making a return this year too, but it's the easily-accessible, hard-to-master trappings of Skate that should take its place from EA.
