12 Gaming Sequels That Aren't In Development (But Really Should Be)

9. Red Dead Reloaded

Here's one that's a lot more likely. Rockstar Games have proven themselves among the best sequel-spinners in video game history with their consistently excellent Grand Theft Auto games, and other successful franchises such as Max Payne and Manhunt have shown them to be pretty open to expanding their most popular universes. Red Dead should be right up there, then, given that the game has sold over 11 million units to date, and has a sequel not-so-subtly teased at the end of the first game. Red Dead Reloaded (as I've flippantly named it) would revolve around John Marston's son Jack as he roams the Old West looking to carve a name out for himself. It could follow a pretty similar formula to the first game, but like the GTA series, it just builds and innovates on what came before, perhaps even adding in the multi-character perspective that was so widely-praised in GTA V. Rockstar are always hard at work on something, and with various employee CVs noting that they are working on a new version of a famed Rockstar IP, it really has to be either Bully 2 or Red Dead. We can only hope.
