12 HUGE Video Games Still To Come In 2020
6. Watch Dogs Legion
Another for the "Oh YEAH, that game is happening?!" pile, Watch Dogs Legion was first shown at E3 2019, then went dark as part of Ubisoft's delayed release slate for the end of that year into 2020.
Finally re-emerging at July 2020's Ubisoft Forward showcase, Watch Dogs Legion is pioneering some pretty revolutionary tech if the devs can get it right. Centred on the idea of making any NPC a potential protagonist, you've got combat options, animations, voice work and everything in between applied to a dystopian London, as freedom fighters rebel against the authorities.
Anybody can be recruited, their weapons changing per profession or life choice, and your options thereafter are massively varied.
With Watch Dogs 2 being surprisingly brilliant and the original's tire fire launch now six years ago, maybe third time's the charm for this divisive series.
