10. Dittos Are Aborted Mew Clones

While it's fairly obvious that Mewtwo is a clone of Mew, what's less well-known is that Ditto, the pink blob of fun that can transform into the image of other Pokemon, is also a clone of Mew. Not only that, he's a clone that failed horribly.

What's the proof? In the Pokemon games, Ditto and Mew both appear in the same colour variations, both know the unique move Transform and are both the same weight. They're also genderless and have identical stats. Not only that, but Dittos are found in the same cave the player finds Mewtwo, with their regularity increasing the closer you get.
