12 Most Hated Fighting Game Characters

7. Yoda - Soul Calibur IV

Yoda is at once both the best and worst thing about the Star Wars prequels. Transforming the wise banter hound into an acrobatic CGI Jedi warrior, the character shift highlighted the indulgence of those movies while still being bloody awesome to watch onscreen.

It's probably because of that unique blend blend of acrobatics and tiny sword swings that made him a prime candidate for Soul Calibur IV's Star Wars crossover, where he appeared as an exclusive character alongside Darth Vader.

As you can imagine, the height difference between him and other fighters, alongside the quick moveset, transformed him into a total nuisance for the average player. Mid-level swings would go sailing way over his head, and you'd find yourself tripping over this little green fella as he slaughtered you with lightsaber uppercuts.
