In order to flesh out the inmates of Arkham Asylum and the history of the institution itself, Rocksteady included a bunch of audio diaries from therapy sessions with the game's villains, and they're all amazing at delving deeper into characters who may otherwise get a little sidelined.

Of course, Harley Quinn is no exception, not least because she's already a main player in the plot, and her origin is intrinsically linked to Arkham in general.

Interestingly though, Harley's interview isn't original content written for the game, but actually repurposed dialogue from Mad Love, an episode of Batman: The Animated Series. This was where the villain's origin story actually came from, and was also written by the game's writer, Paul Dini.
