The Just Cause video games are all about cartoonish, death-defying insanity, and to that end are perfectly suited to the balls-to-the-wall, CGI-heavy blockbuster treatment, so it's little surprise Hollywood is currently putting an adaptation together.

Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, is set to star as series protagonist Rico Rodriguez, and Brad Peyton (San Andreas) will direct it either side of the planned San Andreas sequel.

If enough money is thrown at this thing, it could lovingly replicate the free-wheeling, go-for-broke tone of the games.
