The Buzz: The notoriously challenging, graphically violent 2012 strategy action game promises more of the same, maintaining the retro visual style and 80s synth-esque soundtrack, but featuring a new Hard Mode, a level editor, and new character abilities such as rolling and dual-wielding. Current Release Date: Late 2014/Early 2015 Why It Will Be Delayed: Publisher Devolver Digital's Andrew Parsons recently claimed that the game might not see the light of day until Q2 2015, though the official Hotline Miami Twitter account has tweeted that the game would be out in either late 2014 or early 2015, with no specific release date given. Though there's little doubt that the final product will be a total blast, it wouldn't be surprising if, given the clear disparity in opinion between those involved with the game, it did indeed slip to mid-2015, which would be a huge disappointment.
