12 Upcoming Video Games That Will Probably Be Delayed

7. Tom Clancy's The Division

The Buzz: The latest game to come out of the Tom Clancy stable, The Division is an open-world first-person shooter taking place in a ravaged, post-apocalyptic locale, melding traditional shooter gunplay with RPG mechanics, and some of the best visuals ever seen in a game. Current Release Date: 2015 Why It Will Be Delayed: Though The Division first dropped jaws at Ubisoft's 2013 E3 press conference, this past May it was announced that the game would be delayed into an unspecified period in 2015, with the mysterious source stating that "actual game development has barely started". Though the game could easily end up coming out next year (sometime between September and November is certainly possible), given the intricate, tricky nature of the game's persistent world, and how many similar games have been pushed back or suffered from refusing to move release dates (hello, Driveclub!), it may be in Ubisoft's best interest to push the game to early 2016 if things get too tough.
