12 Video Game Villains Who Lost To Complete Idiots

5. Molluck The Glukkon (Abe's Oddysee)

Abe's Odyssey is an all-too familiar story; an enslaved species throws off their shackles to escape their oppressive corporate overlords who wish to turn them into popsicles...wait, what? That bizarre story set-up leads to one of the PlayStation's greatest (and hardest) platformers; featuring the titular Abe and his odyssey (get it?) to free the Mudokon race from the Glukkon empire. The Mudokon's hopes rest on Abe and his clumsy, simple nature as he puzzles his way through the various levels of the game. Leading the Glukkon Empire is Molluck, a chain-smoking CEO who according to the game is incredibly attractive by Glukkon standards. His company, RuptureFarms, create products from various animals and wildlife of the Oddworld, making several of them extinct in the process. This, of course, leads to a CEO's worst nightmare €“ falling profits €“ and Molluck decides that Mudokons are going to be next on the menu. So how does a successful business man get defeated with an entire army under his command? In one ending, the 'Bad' one, triggered by not freeing enough slaves over the course of the game, Molluck actually succeeds in stopping Abe and drops him into a meat grinder. Of course, that's not the canonical ending which instead sees Molluck being struck down by lightning channelled by the escaped Mudokons, saving the hapless Abe in the process and underlining the fact that being an unlikable, evil, money grabbing tyrant doesn't always pay off.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
