12 Worst Video Game Moments Of The Decade (So Far)

6. The State Of Assassin's Creed

Speaking of ridiculous things - have you seen Assassin's Creed: Syndicate's reviews? Gamespot gave it a 9, IGN an 8 and Game Informer another 9, to name but three. We've actually gotten to the point where - even though the game offers nothing new to a core formula that's almost 10 years old, somehow just phoning it in is enough to get by. On the consumer side many of us couldn't believe it - I certainly couldn't - as comment sections for those respective reviews would rather assume the writers were paid off than admit an Assassin's Creed game could be genuinely enjoyable in 2015. Somehow, we've arrived at a point where even if an AC game simply ticks over again, it's simply annoying to know that means a whole game's worth of resources on Ubisoft's end are already putting together the next instalment, rather than trying to make something new - a crying shame for a franchise that was once a bonafide system-seller.
