7. Blackwind

Babylon's Fall
Drakkar Dev

Blackwind has all the elements you'd expect from a sci-fi blockbuster - mech-suit-wearing soldiers, powerful aliens, intergalactic travel, and badass weapons that turn anything into a crater.

Even though this hack 'n' slash shooter sounds like it'd be enjoyable, it's anything but. Saying the camera is bad doesn't do it justice - it ruins the whole gaming experience. There are many times where you can't solve a puzzle or see where an enemy is, purely because the camera is obscuring your vision. The camera is such a major issue, it's enough to sink the whole game, even if had no other issues.

But rest assured, Blackwind has no shortage of issues. The platforming and combat reek of inadequacy. Even though you have a mini-map, it's as useless as a glass hammer. Because every compound looks the same, you'll spend more time running in circles and backtracking than progressing through the levels.

Also, Blackwind is one of those games which puts so much effort into unlocking and updating your guns, bombs, and lasers, even though nearly every enemy can be wiped out with ease, using the most basic weaponry.
