13 Biggest Things We Learned From E3 2018's Press Conferences
9. Beyond Good And Evil 2 Is Just As Ambitious As We All Want It To Be
Despite the fact we were all clambering for a new Splinter Cell, it was easy to find forgiveness for Ubisoft after they showed a brand new trailer and snippet of gameplay for Beyond Good And Evil 2. The game looks simply astonishing, filled with charming characters, gob-smacking visuals and a ginormous open world. On top of this, it was announced that players would be paid by Ubisoft to design original content for the game, allowing fans to work with the development team like never before.
In the short space of 10 minutes, it was made clear that all the ambitious promises established by Ubisoft when they announced this reboot are truly being honoured. The prequel looks like it's going to blow minds when it likely releases next-generation, and proves that whilst Ubisoft may get a lot of flack for their repetitive game design, they are evidently committed to making Beyond Good And Evil 2 something completely unique and innovative.
The devs are clearly listening to the fans of the original game, which is smart seeing as the franchise has such a strong following of loyal devotees. If it lives up to the ambitious goals it set for itself then Beyond Good And Evil could be one of the most passionate revisitings to date.
