13 Iconic Video Games That Were Sold With Hilariously Terrible Box Art

6. Left 4 Dead 2

Look, it's okay Valve, everyone knows you're an industry leader when it comes to crafting genre-defining video game experiences, but it might be about time to outsource your marketing department. We wouldn't want a repeat of Left 4 Dead 2 now, would we?

Us Brits are thick-skinned, we know you didn't greenlight a cover adorned with the V sign (not peace; hand orientation matters!) knowing its reputation in ol'Blighty for being a lesser form of flipping someone off - that's forgivable.

What can't be forgiven, is the shamelessly lazy cover art. What connotation is anyone supposed to glean from a near-fingerless hand contorted in pain? That it's a four-player co-op shooter where players band together in order to survive an onslaught of ghastly undead?

Of course, it's so obvious!
