Although the character models of every female character in early Tekken games could have been included on this list, no other fighters from the franchise became as instantly iconic as Nina Williams. Why? I'm not really sure, but she quickly became one of the most recognisable faces from the entire series.

Hell, Nina became such a huge pop-culture crossover hit that she was even name-dropped alongside Lara Croft in the British sitcom Spaced as one of the computer-generated women Simon Pegg's character was secretly in love with.

It's just one example, but it proves just how much Nina Williams captured the minds of everyone in the late 90s.
