The Evil Within brings us back to the days when charging at a horde of monsters with a tiny pistol was the very definition of death wish, and 'survival horror' wasn't just another way of saying 'Call Of Duty with more monsters'. Whereas the later Resident Evils double-downed on the gunplay and explosions, The Evil Within gives players just enough ammo to scrape by.
