Team Ninja's most recognised title, Ninja Gaiden (the 2004 version and all subsequent remakes) is easily one of the world's most frustrating games. NG has made gamers from all corners of the globe yell into space harder than William Shatner with its difficulty. When the first level is harder to complete than a Rubik's Cube, you know you are in for a bad time. Glitches, the camera and the overall story also makes Ninja Gaiden a major hassle to complete. The camera sucks, as it usually zooms in and out and gets stuck at awkward angles, and when you are surrounded in a small room with 10 enemies, this causes major havoc. As far as glitches go, the game will freeze every now and then, usually during the most inopportune times. On expansion Sigma Plus, this happens often, forcing players to repeat key, and often difficult, segments over and over again. As for the story itself, the first word of the name should say it all. But when the story quickly has the player go from killing fellow ninjas to security guards armed with grenade launchers, to zombies to dinosaurs, anything goes. And it does. Sometimes, just trying to follow the plot is a big enough hassle within itself.
