13 Worst Video Game Industry Decisions Of 2018 (So Far)

5. Sony's PSVR Support Dwindles

2018 hasn't exactly been an incredible year for PSVR owners. After 2017 saw Sony show surprisingly strong support for the headset, the first half of this year has seen two major AAA titles flop hard - The Inpatient and Bravo Team - while only Moss and Sprint Vector have truly delivered the high-profile VR thrills fans have been craving.

PSVR's fairly low-key presence at E3 also underlined the possibility that Sony is quietly distancing itself from developing big-budget, full-fat VR games, with the headset's future line-up largely being filled up by smaller indie games and bite-sized experiences.

That's not to discredit these lower-budget offerings, but considering the potential of the hardware, it's a damn shame how few great blockbuster titles have landed for PSVR in 2018 so far. And sadly, the rest of the year is looking pretty barren too.
