6. Bethesda Announces The Elder Scrolls VI Way Too Soon

Bethesda concluded their E3 conference by dropping an announcement trailer for The Elder Scrolls VI. Though the teaser damn-near broke the Internet, it was effectively a glorified logo reveal, showing off a fairly generic vista of Tamriel and what was surely a placeholder logo quickly thrown together by an intern.

With Bethedsa officially unveiling Starfield moments earlier, did they really need to steal its thunder by also announcing TES VI? There's virtually no chance it's going to be released before 2021, and considering how often gamers (rightfully) complain about games being announced too early, could we not have waited another year or two before having this announced?

We all knew it was coming regardless, so the lacklustre logo reveal just felt pretty limp while nevertheless taking some of the wind out of Starfield's sails.
