13 Worst Video Game Industry Decisions Of 2018 (So Far)
9. EA Clumsily Announces Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order At E3
When it comes to E3 reveals, nothing was as laughably off-the-mark as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the new game from Titanfall developers Respawn Entertainment.
Rather than get a glossy teaser trailer or even a modest logo reveal, the game was nonchalantly announced by studio head Vince Zampella, who was sitting in the audience of the EA conference and not-so-enthusiastically confirmed the game's title, some minor plot details and its holiday 2019 release window.
Given the obvious excitement surrounding a Respawn Star Wars game, this was an absolutely terrible way to introduce it to players. If the game truly is 18 months away from release, surely there must've been something for them to show us? Not even a logo? Awful.
