Playing as the titular hero, our floppy-footed fella must rescue the Princess Honey from the sneaky Black Jack. Standard fare, you might think, but it is not.

Levels are an always running, isometric race against time. Except time in this case is an exceptionally long bomb fuse that must be reached and defused by the level's end.

You had to think fast, as hazards would come at you from all angles, as well as keeping those peepers peeled for collectibles on your mad dash. It also featured a multiple choice ending system, depending on how many Honey Hearts were collected, as well as how many continues were used (if any).

It was bright, it was jolly, it was also unforgiving in places, but it was fun. It had that one more go attitude, and to top it all off: the Kid made THE best noise when injured.
