2. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
Any MGS game is always a big deal, but the first entry of a two-part gaming experience on next-gen? That's a really big deal. Although there's been some controversy over this game's length (it is, apparently, just a taster of what's to come with the larger game, the Phantom Pain), I can't imagine the droves of Metal Gear fans that exist around the world not buying this one. For Ground Zeroes (and to a larger extend in the Phantom Pain) Konami, the game's developers, are jumping on the open-world bandwagon and delivering a new MGS experience. For the first time in series history you have the freedom to do missions how you please, using vehicles, stealth, combat and gunplay to your advantage. Do you wait until the dead of night to strike when it'll be harder for you to be seen, or do you go in balls-to-the-wall with guns blazing in the middle of the day? The choice is yours. MGS V is also running on Hideo Kojima and Co's new Fox engine, which makes things look fantastic. I mean just look at the whiskery goodness in Snake's beard.
