7. System Shock 3 Is Revealed
The Announcement: It was confirmed late last year that a third System Shock game was in development, so why not give us the first glimpse of gameplay at E3?
How Likely Is It?: Not at all. Designer Warren Spector has confirmed that the game is in its most basic developmental stages, and as such there may not even be a single scrap of gameplay to show us yet.
While this could simply be a conservative move to avoid raising expectations too high, and we could be surprised with some slick-looking gameplay, it'd be foolish to genuinely believe that. Expect nothing and possibly be pleasantly surprised (but probably not). The best you can probably hope for is some snazzy concept art or something.
