14 Most Hotly-Anticipated Video Games Of Summer 2016 - Ranked
4. Monster Hunter Generations
Monster Hunter may be destined to forever be 'that game' certain people scream very loudly about, but the rest of us just never get round to playing.
And why? Well, up until MH4, its mechanics were just that little bit obscure, and being on 3DS with no decent camera control for all the third-person creature-slaying you need to do, it always felt hampered by its own platform.
That said, the series is HUUUGE in Japan, with entire families reportedly taking time off together just for the sake of adventuring in its digital expanses. The core ideal of ranking up a character, customising weapons and armour, sharpening your blades and camping out just to wait for the exact beast to show up gives it a more hardcore Pokmon vibe - yet time will tell if Generations is the game to really make a foothold in the west.
