7. No Man's Sky
Admittedly, the constant delays to No Man's Sky are starting to make the more conspiracy-minded among us (i.e. me) wonder whether the developers are trying to milk the mind-blowing premise of the game as much as possible before release - lest it proves to be utter cack.
No Man's Sky is an open-universe exploration game with literally billions of procedurally-generated planets for you to explore; yes, I mentioned the word 'explore' twice in the same sentence because that, essentially, is all you do. Oh, there are some space-fights in it too - God knows between who though.
When it comes down to it, No Man's Sky is all about the experience of seamlessly entering one of millions of planets' atmospheres from space, then touching down on them and seeing what you can find.
It's all as impressive as it is vague, but one more delay, and I'll do something radical, like... pretending not to give a sh*t about the game anymore. So please hurry up with it, Hello Games.
