14 Most Underrated Open-World Games Of The Last 10 Years
13. Batman: Arkham Origins
Not only was Arkham Origins criticised by fans when it first hit shelves, but publisher WB has seemingly tried to get players to forget that it even existed at all ever since. Not included in last year's remastered set of the other games in the series, Origins has been given the boot and shunned by both its creators and fans of this genre-defining superhero franchise.
Which is a shame, because Origins is much better than it had any right to be. Although development duties were handed over to a brand new studio, WB Montreal, they were able to use the framework that Rocksteady had perfected so brilliantly with Arkham City to craft a Batman game that deserves to be recognised alongside its more adored siblings.
So if you, like me, skipped playing the neglected stepchild of WB's Batman Arkham franchise at the time of release then you owe it to yourself to go back and give it a chance today.
