Watch Dogs may 'feel' like Ubisoft's biggest mistake, simply because of how incredibly inflated all the hype was in the run-up to release, versus how the end product turned out, but remove those factors and look at how it plays. Its systems are pretty simple to grasp and nothing gets in the way of having a serviceably good time - it was always, y'know, not the anti-christ.

Nothing special by any means, Aiden Pearce is unlikable to the point of hatred, gameplay is 'open world crime game' 101, and by game's end you won't remember anything other than perhaps one time you triggered an environmental obstacle to stop a police chase - but Watch Dogs was just 'fine' in every respect.
