Title: Raise An Emissary Flag For Greater Rewards
While there is no end game as such in Sea Of Thieves, a goal new players will be working towards is reaching the coveted rank of Pirate Legend. To gain this prestigious title alongside all the fancy cosmetics that come with it, players are required to reach level 50 in at least three factions. It’s a lot of legwork and grinding (especially on the higher levels), but who said becoming a legend was easy?
Fortunately for newer players, there's a faster way to race through the ranks: raise an emissary flag.
In one of the latest updates, crews can now vote to hoist an emissary flag to represent their chosen faction (excluding Hunters). The higher you raise your emissary rank by working your way through faction voyages and collecting the relevant loot, the more gold and reputation you’ll earn when you cash it in. Remember, you'll earn emissary rep when you touch loot and when you put it on your ship.
Hitting the highest emissary level will even unlock special gilded voyages – except for Reapers, who’ll be able to see other emissary ships on their ship’s map.
