2. Injustice 2

It may be a DC fighting game with a far more sizeable roster than just Batman, but Injustice 2 has a phenomenal incarnation of the character for many reasons.

First up, the main story is all about his ideology on not killing. Going up against the tyrannical Superman, NetherRealm weave a story that puts the entire world on the line, just as a metaphysical extension of that core belief: "How far would circumstances have to escalate, for Batman to break his one rule?"

Not only that, but playing as Batman feels like a hearty mix of crushing haymakers, roundhouse kicks, cape stuns, counters and batarangs. Delving into the loot system expands his array of outfits to include everything from 1960s blue, yellow n' grey colour palettes, to Dark Knight Returns/Batman V Superman-esque armour.

Lastly, Bats is voiced by Kevin Conroy, has some great interactions with the rest of the Bat Family including Robin and Nightwing, and punches Superman into next week if you choose to take the story in a specific direction.
