11. A Boy And His Blob
Yes, eagle-eyed gamers will remember A Boy and his Blob actually launched on the Wii U back in 2009, but as that amounted to having about as much exposure as a nun in a cupboard, WayForward Technologies quite rightly pushed for a PS4 and Xbox One release.
The result is a supremely gorgeous, Studio Ghibli-esque puzzle-platformer, one where the titular pair become fast friends after the former feeds him a jelly bean. It's as simple to grasp as that concept is to run with, and you'll quickly discover that feeding Blob different jelly beans can turn him into everything from a trampoline to a parachute, and a bowling ball to a whopping great robo-mech.
Oh, and there's a button for the two to hug it out, if your charm levels were ever starting to be anything less than maxed out.
