15 Best Multiplayer Maps In Gaming History Ranked

13. The Bridge - Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 Dead 2
Valve

The fifth and final act of Left 4 Dead 2's Parish section, few multiplayer maps can make killing zombies as heart pounding of an experience as this one does. The Bridge takes everything players have learned over the course of the campaign and puts them to the ultimate test.

The action never slows down as players have to work together, fighting their way from one end of the bridge to the other, facing down an onslaught of the infected. It'll have players popping pills, caving in their trigger buttons, and praying for a med-kit the whole way through. The player is going to deal with damage, and the most determined can make it to the helicopter, but the question is will they be running, walking, or limping their way off of the bridge, if they do at all.

The Bridge adds another level of danger, particularly for the acrophobic, as staying too close to the sides, or any destroyed part of the the road can lead to a situation where the player is grasping at the ground, trying to keep themselves from falling, needing a teammate to help them back up. Given the high stakes and perpetual presence of the infected, that can leave teammates making tough decisions to either help a friend, or lighten the load.

Zombie games may have waned in popularity, but this map never will.
