At this point, does GTA V need any more explaining about why it's so good?

Taking a few cues from Max Payne 3 for GTA V's shooting, it was a huge improvement over GTA IV, creating engaging firefights with a huge array of customisable weapons, that were greatly assisted by the game's Euphoria engine. Vehicle handling, which was a major gripe to a lot of people in GTA IV, was made undeniably easier for a driver and pilot to enjoy their journey, and not take a taxi for every mission.

As usual, Rockstar nailed an entertaining story mode, which trimmed off some of the seriousness that GTA IV had, in favour of a bit more humour. The story followed three protagonists, which allowed for the ability to switch between them at any time, something that is arguably unique in this day and age.

Longevity has been one of the game's major achievements too. Three years on and GTA Online is still sucking people in and keeping them there with the constant updates adding more content, only serving to make Grand Theft Auto V better than it originally was back in 2013.
