8. Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader - Wait, Those Were Important?

Anyone who has ever seen the original films set in the galaxy far, far away remember certain points within the films. Darth Vader's revelation to Luke, the Hoth battle, and the Death Star trench run. A big advantage of Star Wars games has always been to relive these moments, but Factor 5 opted to add a slight twist to one level. During the Death Star Trench Run, it is possible to burn through the X-Wing's entire payload of torpedoes before reaching the exhaust port. Doing this with only one life remaining will cause the screen to cut away from the action and display Yavin IV being blown to smithereens by a superlaser. The programmers didn't even allow players who made this mistake reach the end of their level, they just instantly fail the mission.
