15 Games That MUST Be On The PlayStation Classic

12. Crash Bandicoot

Ps1 Classic Feat
Naughty Dog

Nathan Drake's inexplicable inability to get to grips with Naughty Dog's apple-loving 'fox' prompted a huge wave of nostalgia for Crash, resulting in last Christmas's N.Sane Trilogy and several un-spun crates full of cash. A whole generation fell back in love with the world' most famous bandicoot - and quickly back out of it again when they were reminded of the game's archaic perspective and often unforgiving difficulty.

The relative recency of the spit-and-polish to the release of Sony's tiny PS1 perhaps devalues the former somewhat, but a PlayStation Classic without Crash Bandicoot would be like a picnic without a wasp: it's gotta be there, and it's probably going to be annoying.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
