When Grand Theft Auto IV took a step away from over-the-top madness, people went mental. Grand Theft Auto V was a long time in the making but when it arrived, it was clear Rockstar were simply trying to stuff as much mayhem into one game as they could. Just look at the heroes of the tale - three borderline insane a**holes who've probably killed more people than they have had hot dinners. The game is set around a series of bank heists but one in particular stole the hearts of fans and critics alike. The Paleto Bay Heist is a masterclass in set-pieces and it's a perfect blend of fun and mayhem as a result. Seeing Trevor emerge from the bank in full Juggernaut gear with a minigun in tow probably had many of you jumping out of your seats in excitement; if it wasn't clear before, the Paleto Bay heist underlined the fact that Grand Theft Auto was back with a bang. Every scene that follows seems increasingly ludicrous - the gang escape from a tank in the shovel of a digger and then have a shoot-out in a Cluckin' Bell factory before boarding a train and getting out of dodge. It's an intense roller-coaster of a mission and once it's done, you'll wonder just where GTA goes from here. Amazingly fun stuff.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
